The Fall

Took a nasty fall from the bike yesterday night, luckily no major injuries, but ended up badly scratching my wrists, elbows and knee and was in pain for an hour at least. Even more luckily, I was wearing a helmet, and I could distinctly hear it hitting the road, rather hard. I thanked heavens that I never scrimp on buying a quality helmet.

Even better, a dear friend landed up and took me to the hospital, and that cheered me up. I think I would’ve been in a funk for the rest of the night otherwise. I was actually setting out to go to a birthday party, didn’t wanna miss it, though I was still in pain. So I and my friend set out, and had a great time. Not to mention I got some extra brownie points for coming in even after taking that nasty fall :)

After a long time, I feel like I’m gaining some real friends. I learned the hard way how difficult it is to have the sort of friends who’ll take you to a hospital, fuss over your injured hand, and invite you to sleep over at their place for the night. Thank you guys, you make me feel really, really lucky.

hi @wtfjs, please could you use simple text in pre tags to post the code? gists suck for reading through feed readers.

A friend of mine who couldn’t be bothered to signup for Facebook, is quite excited about Buzz. Goog must be doing something right.

I was always kinda surprised that the least pretentious brands put out the best muesli. I’m wondering if this doesn’t apply to all food.
